Education

The Roxy Regional Theatre has several educational programs. Our School of the Arts program meets every Saturday during the school year. There are 2 programs available: acting for the novice (aged 10-16) and advanced acting (by invitation). The cost for these programs is $50.00 per month.

During the summer the Roxy Regional Theatre hosts a summer drama camp, sponsored by the local Parks and Recreation Department. Meeting Monday through Thursday, 2 hours a day for six weeks, registration for this program is $30.00 through the Parks and Recreation Office.

STUDENTS SAVE
The Roxy Regional Theatre believes in the power of
theatre to entertain, educate and enlighten.
Tickets for school groups, during daytime matinees,
are $5.00 per student. This is for groups of 100 or
more. Educators, please call the box-office for exact dates and times.

Curriculum Matinees
All shows with * are offered to local schools to enhance their curriculum. We do not randomly cut for time.   Most school matinees are 90 minutes (however, some shows are longer). Most shows can tour to your school and some shows only tour. The ticket price is $5.00 per student, teachers and required chaperones are free (however, if a parent wants to enjoy the thrill of live theatre with their child, full ticket admission is required). We comfortably seat 165 and reservations are required at least 10 days prior to your trip.

Touring
Selected shows are designed to tour to your school or venue. A minimum of 300 students ($1500.00) is required for us to travel. A working stage, lighting and sound system is required.
